This is it folks! It is HIGH time for this initiative to appear on a ballot in Helluvfornia! Finally, Californians will go to the polls en masse this November to finally show America the possibilities for restoring our once profound tightness. Legalize marijuana, and watch how much better life gets. Helluv.

The National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) recently named Denver, Colorado "America's Cannabis Capital" which at first both confused and infuriated me, until I learned about just how much work Denver is doing to live up to the Mile HIGH name that no longer just describes its altitude.

That's my boy! Cy Young Winner Tim "The Franchise/Freak" Lincecum cemented his place in my heart as The Best Thing in Bay Area Baseball as he was pulled over in Washington for speeding, and broke the seal of his hotboxed Benz to accept his ticket. TIGHT, HELLUV!

One of the most brilliant minds America has ever produced, Carl Sagan, famous astronomer, astrochemist, author, planetary scientist, producer, writer, host/personality, and marijuanousseur™ spoke at length about his love of the ganj, and if it is good enough for him, I'm down.

Thank GOD for the saints at NORML (National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Law) for straightening out the fucktards at Fox News who apparently still think this is the 1930s and apparently still think that skewed facts, propaganda, lies, and hyperbole can instill fear in America over the most illogical shit. God Bless NORML.

If you will notice in my posting on being a Cannabis Cup Judge in 2003, I smoked Hawaiian Snow, a sativa that won that year's Cup, whose potency was 23.8%. I also smoked Honey Oil that week whose potency was 75%. So, the average US pot can suck it. However, the fact that America now has pot whose potency has passed 10% and is on the rise is a good sign!

All I can say about this is "DUH!!!". I mean, what the fuck America? I do not understand why it has not been legal up to this point. But I am oroud for our collective mind-opening to the prospect of even considering it legally viable. And what it says about our mindset as a nation is very encouraging.

Ever wonder if anywhere in academic America there exists an educated, brilliant, calm, cool, collected, relevant, and reputable advocate for the revision of American Drug Policy and the legalization of marijuana, working to fight the stereotypes and misinformation? Well there IS.

Anybody that knows me knows I never shut the fuck up about legalizing marijuana for millions of reasons. There is no reason NOT to legalize it, both out of a selfish love of getting faded, but more importantly for the known improvements we would undoubtedly see in the social, health care, economic, incarceration, et. al situations in America.
